EBIS-A operates at TU Vienna

Dresden EBIS-A visits TU Vienna in cooperation with HZDR

A Dresden EBIS-A with Wien Filter delivered to the HZDR is currently working at the TU Vienna (working group of Prof. Aumayr).

The aim of this scientific cooperation between both institutes is a deeper understanding of the energy loss and charge transfer of slow highly charged ions at thin layers.For this scientific issue a time-of-flight spectrometer (TOF) is coupled with the Dresden EBIS-A.
